Love Letter To Water, 2025

Text-Based Digital Poster

I have always feared water. I have also always needed it.

A glass of water at night makes me feel safe, but the ocean scares me. Water holds everything: fear, comfort, memory, and beauty. It can keep you alive or pull you under. It shows you what is above and hides what is below.

Love Letter to Water started as a personal note and turned into a public invitation. It is a text-based series and an immersive installation that turns my private thoughts about water into something you can see and feel.

Each line begins with Dear water and ends with a different feeling: fear, stillness, comfort, or beauty. In this work, words become a kind of structure. Emotions turn into a space you can walk through.

With posters, sound, light, and physical space, I want you to not just read about water, but to feel it. To move with it. To face both its gentle side and its power.

This is water not just as an element, but as an emotion. As a prayer. As a quiet witness.
